The best sales call tools for Mac, compared

By Harshit Maurya, maker of Cued · Updated 14 October 2026

If your team needs notes pushed into Salesforce or HubSpot, pick a cloud tool: Gong for large sales teams, Fathom, Fireflies or Avoma for smaller ones, Sybill or Granola if you want no bot in the call. Avoma is the one here that shows answer cards during the call. Cued suits a solo rep or founder on a Mac who wants their pitch under the camera, the call recorded with no bot, and a follow-up email drafted on the Mac. It does not sync to a CRM or share notes with a team.

Which one should you pick?

  • If you run a large sales team and need forecasting and coaching across reps: Gong.
  • If you want a free start and CRM updates later: Fathom or Fireflies.
  • If you want no bot in the call and your notes in the CRM: Sybill or Granola.
  • If you want prompts that pop up when a buyer raises an objection: Avoma's real-time guidance add-on.
  • If your manager needs to see your calls and notes: any of the cloud tools here, not Cued.
  • If you use Windows: any of the cloud tools here. Cued is Mac only.
  • If you sell alone on a Mac, want your discovery questions under the camera, and your calls must stay on your Mac: Cued.

Where Cued fits

Cued is built for the person on the call, not for a sales team's dashboard. Each calendar meeting (Google Calendar or Mac Calendar) gets a workspace for your pitch, discovery questions, files and links, and "Prepare me" writes a research prompt from the websites in the invite. During the call your points sit in the MacBook notch, hidden from screen sharing. Cued records the screen and both sides of the audio of Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, FaceTime, Webex and Slack calls with no bot, transcribes live on your Mac, then writes a summary, action items with owners, decisions and a follow-up email that opens in Gmail or Mail for you to send. ⌘K searches every past call and opens the recording at that moment. What it does not do: it does not sync to a CRM, share notes with a team, coach you on objections, or run on Windows, iPhone or older macOS. It needs macOS 15 and Apple silicon, and there is no free plan.

Questions

Which sales call recorder doesn't join as a bot?

Granola and Sybill's desktop recorder capture audio on your computer, Fathom has a bot-free beta on Mac, Fireflies can record through its Chrome extension, Avoma offers bot-less recording, and Gong can use native Zoom recording. Cued records on the Mac with no bot.

Which sales call tool syncs notes to Salesforce or HubSpot?

Gong, Fathom, Fireflies, Sybill, Granola and Avoma all do on paid plans. Cued does not sync to any CRM; you copy what you need from the summary.

Can I see my sales script during a Zoom call without the buyer seeing it?

Yes. Cued shows your talking points in the MacBook notch, hidden from screen sharing. Avoma shows answer cards when objections come up, through a paid add-on.

How much does Cued cost?

Cued is a one-time purchase: $9 for the first 50 founding members, then $29 with a year of updates. Download it from getcued.pro and pay inside the app after a quick setup.

Try Cued on your next call. Your script in the notch, your call recorded and summarised on your Mac.
