Cued

Terms of Use and Sale

Effective 21 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy, download or use Cued for macOS. “We” and “us” means Harshit Maurya, an individual based in India, who makes and sells Cued. By buying or using Cued you agree to them. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

Buying Cued

  • Our reseller. Cued is sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. Dodo Payments takes the payment, works out and collects sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt and licence key. Its own terms apply to the payment itself.
  • Prices. Prices are shown in US dollars before tax. Tax depends on where you live and is shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices for future purchases; a price change never affects what you have already paid for.
  • One payment. Cued is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and nothing renews on its own.

Your licence

Founding licence ($29)

Offered to the first 50 completed purchases only. It is a one-time payment that includes Cued for Mac and every update to Cued for Mac that we release, for as long as we develop and offer Cued for Mac. If more than 50 purchases go through at the same moment, we honour every one of them. A refunded founding licence frees its place for someone else.

Standard licence ($29)

A one-time payment that includes every update to Cued for Mac released within 12 months of your purchase. After those 12 months, the latest version you received keeps working with no time limit; it does not stop or lock. Newer versions after that are optional and need a paid renewal at the price shown at the time.

For both licences

  • Who may use it. A licence is for one person. You may use Cued on one Mac at a time that you own or control. Unlocking Cued on another Mac moves the licence there, and Cued on the previous Mac locks until it is unlocked again. A licence can move up to 3 times in 30 days, so a key can't be passed around; write to us if you need more.
  • Keep your key to yourself. Please don't share, sell or publish your licence key. We may deactivate a key that has been published, shared beyond these limits, refunded or charged back.
  • Licence checks. When you enter your key, Cued activates it with Dodo Payments and checks it again from time to time. Cued keeps working offline and re-checks the next time you're online. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent.
  • What a licence is. You buy a licence to use Cued, not ownership of the software. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where the law allows it.

Refunds

If Cued isn't right for you, email contact@getcued.pro within 7 days of your purchase and we refund the full amount. After a refund, the licence key is deactivated. Details are in the Refund Policy.

Updates and support

We work to keep Cued running well on current versions of macOS. Each version of Cued lists the macOS versions and Macs it supports; a future version of macOS may need a newer version of Cued. Support is by email at contact@getcued.pro.

If Cued ever ends

If we ever stop developing Cued, we will say so on this website, and the version you have will keep working on the Macs and macOS versions it supports. “Every update, for life” in the founding licence means every update we release; it does not oblige us to keep releasing updates forever. If we stop within 12 months of your purchase, email us and we will refund a fair share of what you paid.

Use of Cued

You may use Cued for lawful personal or business meetings. You are responsible for following applicable recording and consent laws and for telling meeting participants when consent is required.

Your content

You keep ownership of your recordings, transcripts, notes, and other meeting content. Cued processes this content on your Mac to provide the app's features and does not claim ownership of it.

Google services

Google features are also subject to Google's terms and policies. You may disconnect your Google account at any time.

Acceptable use

Do not use Cued to violate another person's privacy, gain unauthorized access, distribute malware, or break applicable law.

Warranty and liability

Cued is improving quickly and may contain errors; keep your own copies of anything critical. Transcripts and summaries are written by software and can be wrong, so check anything important. Apart from the refund rights above and any rights the law gives you that cannot be excluded, Cued is provided as is, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Cued.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and its date. Your purchase is covered by the terms that applied when you bought it, unless a change only gives you more.
